Being open and being honest

Is it wrong to be open and to be honest? and can someone be too open and be too honest? Should someone be honest? too honest? Should someone be open? too open? How can I be honest without getting myself into trouble because I’m too honest? How can I be open without getting myself into trouble because I’m too open? *haizzz*
